Evil Twin Brewing – Ashtray Heart Smoked Porter – 5.5 Smokestacks

Smells like a roasted porter, but not so much like a smoked porter. Ashtray, as unappetizing as it may sound is fairly accurate considering the malty, roasted, ashy taste. Sweetness also comes through and makes me smile a bit. And that sweetness is Ashtray Hearts saving grace, along with the 8.9% abv. Boozy, roasted, sweetness. Evil Twin gets an extra 0.5 in overall happiness just because of the description on the side of the bottle. Interesting sheen left on the glass. Good grownup peoples beer. Overall Happiness 5.5 smokestacks:)
